These are recordings made early in 2008 by a group of friends of Paul Phillips - 1959-2007.
The recordings had no road map just a desire to come together as musicians in the memory of a mutual friend and to generate some music that could benefit the Scholarship created in our friend's name.
The recording displays a mixture of American and Irish Musicians and the music we created carries both accents and whatever lies in between.
Given that Paul Phillips was All Ireland Bodhran Champion and World Bodhran Champion it will not surprise you to hear that there are often three bodhrans audible and working together as a rhythm unit. We make no apologies and hope that you enjoy the extra exposure of the drum.
